Service Description
Kim Son Tech provides a comprehensive range of crane services, including repair, annual maintenance, major overhaul, modification and upgrading, re-certification, and load testing for cranes operating at ports, onshore facilities, offshore platforms, FPSOs, and shipyards.
All crane services are executed to ensure structural integrity, mechanical reliability, and safe operation, in full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, OEM specifications, and third-party inspection and certification standards.
Kim Son Tech is fully equipped with specialized and certified tools and equipment for crane maintenance, repair, testing, and certification, including but not limited to hydraulic jacks, load cells, water bags, digital pressure gauges, non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment, hydraulic flushing systems, and laser measurement instruments. All activities are carried out by qualified and competent personnel in accordance with approved procedures and applicable HSE and quality management requirements.
What’s Included
1. Annual Inspection & Maintenance
We perform full visual and functional inspections of structural, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to detect wear, corrosion, or misalignment early.
2. Crane Repairing & Overhaul
Corrective repair and major overhaul services to restore crane systems to optimal operating condition. Works may include winches, slewing mechanisms, hoisting systems, hydraulic power units, brakes, wire ropes, and control systems.
3. Load Testing & Re-Certification
Static and dynamic load testing using certified load cells or water bags to verify crane capacity and safety performance, followed by re-certification in accordance with applicable standards and third-party requirements.
4. Modification & Upgrading
Engineering modification and system upgrading to improve crane performance, safety, or suitability for revised operational requirements, including component replacement and system enhancement.
5. Certified Manpower, Tools & Equipment
The technicians at Kim Son Tech have been trained and accredited by crane manufacturers and acknowledged third parties such as API, Rexroth, Parker, and Favelle Favco... We are fully equipped with professional tools and innovative equipment to assist all crane service operations.
