Hydraulic Hose Replacement
Project Overview
Kim Son Technology Service Co., Ltd was awarded the full hydraulic hose renewal program for seven (07) Ship-to-Shore Quay Cranes (SPQC 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07) at Vietnam’s busiest deep-water container terminal, CMIT. The project was executed under a formal agreement with Asia Technical Services & Equipment Co., Ltd, with zero interruption to terminal operations.
Scope of Work
- Survey and mapping of complete hydraulic piping systems on all seven cranes
- Design, selection, and supply of high-pressure hydraulic hoses and fittings (Parker & OEM standard)
- Professional crimping, pressure testing to 1.5 × working pressure, and installation
- Flushing of all new hose assemblies to NAS 6 cleanliness level
- Final commissioning and handover with updated hose registers
The Result
All seven quay cranes successfully returned to full operational status with completely renewed hydraulic systems. Each crane received:
- Updated hydraulic schematics
- Individual hose register (Excel + PDF)
- Pressure test certificates
- 24-month warranty on all supplied and installed hoses
