Load Testing & Recertification Services
Project Overview
Kim Son Technology Service Co., Ltd successfully provided complete load testing and recertification services for multiple port cranes at Cat Lai Terminal – Vietnam’s largest container port. The operation was executed safely and efficiently during a single operational window, ensuring zero disruption to port activities.
Scope of Work
Full proof load testing using water bags and calibrated digital load cells in accordance with LOLER, ILO 152, and Vietnamese port authority requirements.
- Pre-test planning and risk assessment conducted with terminal operator
- Rigging performed by Leeacertified riggers and supervised by Kim Son senior engineers
- Static proof load test successfully applied up to 125 % of SWL on each crane
- Real-time load monitoring with digital load cell accuracy ±0.1 %
- Dynamic function test completed at 100 % SWL
- All test data recorded and issued with official load test certificates
The Result
Every tested crane was immediately recertified for continued safe operation. Client received:
- Individual load test certificate for each crane
- Full test report with load graphs and photos
- Updated crane register and next due dates
- Digital copies + hard-bound dossier
